Aesthetic Facial Treatment with Autologous Platelet Growth Factors

This is a novel method of facial rejuvenation using growth factors obtained from the platelets present in your own blood.

A sample of the patient´s own blood is taken and centrifuged to achieve a concentrated solution of platelets, the source of the growth factors (GFs). The sample is then treated to liberate the GFs from the platelets so that they can be used in the procedure.

Subsequently the GFs are injected into the skin via multiple small injections where signs of aging are apparent.

The GFs activate the cellular regeneration of the skin particularly the keratinocytes and fibroblasts in the basal layers. They stimulate the production of collagen and elastin fibres with a consequent improvement in both the thickness and elasticity of the skin.
